When it comes to protein supplements BSN’s syntha-6 is hands down one of the best protein supplements on the market.  Its combination of high quality ingredients, great taste, and above all great results is what makes it the top competitor in its field.

I have been using SYNTHA-6 as my protein supplement for the past few years and I see no reason to change that because I see constant results with it.  A few years back, when I started working out again I was essentially starting from scratch.  I had not worked out for so long that I had to resort to using 10, 15, and 20 pound weights for most of my exercises, which is never motivating going to the gym.

Luckily I had found out about BSN and bought a few of their products and going to the gym was great again.  I had started using Syntha-6, NO-Xplode, & CellMass in my daily routine and saw great results within just a month.  In just one month I went from doing 20 pound dumbbell curls, to 40 pound dumbbell curls.  I had gone from a weakling to a beast in just a few weeks and that’s why I love BSN.

Taste Rating:

The proteins taste is one of its biggest selling features, because if the protein doesn’t taste good you’re really not going to consume all of it.  I’ve personally always been a fan of chocolate and that is why I always buy the chocolate milkshake flavored Syntha-6 protein.  It mixes well and it tastes like a chocolate milkshake, even with water.  Sometimes if I’m bored with the chocolate flavor I add peanut butter and mix it in a blender or, I’ll mix in one banana.

I’m usually never a fan of vanilla protein because it always tastes horrible; however, I can still enjoy a vanilla protein shake if it is made by BSN.  I have also tried mocha chino and strawberry milkshake but I find them a little too sweet for me.

Value Rating:

Given how quickly I usually go through a tub of protein in I like to find one that is priced reasonably and also offers great results.  In a typical month I can go through 1 to 2 tubs of protein; so you can see why the price is a concern.  I always shopped around online to find the best deal, and have always found bodybuilding.com to have it for the lowest price available.  You can’t really compete with a great price and great service, and I would recommend that if you choose to order your Syntha-6 online you go through them.

Effectiveness Rating:

As I mentioned above in my first month of using Syntha-6 I was able to double the weight I was curling.  Granted I was also using NO-Xplode and CellMass, and I believe these have a lot to do with my results.  And I say that because when I went to the gym in high school it was very difficult for me to go up in weight, and the most I could ever do on dumbbell biceps curls was about 25 pounds.  And at that time I was going to the gym Monday through Friday for pretty much the entire year, and I even tried high intensity workouts to no avail.  I can definitely say without a doubt in my mind that these three products helped me.

BSN’s Syntha-6 protein is one of the few protein powders that tastes GREAT and performs even BETTER.
